General

You'll see all kinds of clothing, from suits to jeans. Everyone is welcome, and we want you to feel that way.

Worship begins at 10 a.m., but people begin gathering for fellowship and weekly catch up with each other around 9:30 a.m. Our Sunday Adult Forum Bible study begins at 9 a.m. October through May if you’d like to join a small group Bible study discussion.

Parking is in the rear of the church. You will notice our glassed-in Welcome Center. The main doors face the parking lot. Once you enter, you will be warmly welcomed by our greeters. They will assist you with making a name tag (optional) and guide you to the worship space.

What to Expect

Yes! Grace Space is slightly removed from the formal worship space. It is an open-concept located just outside the sanctuary so that those worshipping in Grace Space can still hear everything going on in the sanctuary and participate in a way that is most comfortable for them. It is a space that is great for our younger members and also for our neurodivergent members with sensory needs

Sunday School is held Sunday mornings 9:50-10:30 am for ages 3-12. Kind and caring teachers greet you each Sunday to provide Active Learning Experiences, through Interactive Bible Stories that encourages Life Applications for the week ahead. After Sunday School ends, the teacher will walk the class to the sanctuary where all will be able to participate in Holy Communion and the remainder of worship with their families or in Grace Space. Come join the fun and discover Jesus ’love for ALL.

Confirmation classes

We are partnered with Lutheran Church of The Master in Troy for our Confirmation Classes which take place on Wednesday evenings during the school year for 7th and 8th graders.

Our Sunday service begins at 10am and typically lasts about an hour to 75 minutes. At Spirit of Christ, you will experience an enriching worship life. A typical Sunday worship at Spirit of Christ is structured and designed to engage congregants in a meaningful and transformative worship experience, centered on the Word of God, prayer, music, and sacraments. Holy Communion takes place each Sunday and the invitation to receive the bread and wine is extended to all people. We have GF wafers and grape juice available.

Our worship service blends a variety of music styles depending on the season. Worship is led with piano and/or organ accompaniment, with music often provided by one of our music teams (choir, bell choir, praise band, vocalists or musicians). We sing a combination of scripture choruses, time-honored hymns, and modern hymns too.
